I was digging through my old photos and I came across this panorama of Broads Fork that I took back in....2000 I think. Dan Stucki and I skied Bonkers in the  morning before the wrath of the notorious Glide Avalanches in Broads Fork was unleashed. Most of these had already come down. We sat around to see if anything else would cut loose. We only saw a few small wet sluffs. It was pretty hubling skiing by Volkswagon-Bus-Sized Chunks of Avi Debris.

I bring this up now because we are on the verge of a pretty crazy avalanche season. We've had rain, snow, rime, ice, facets, you name it. And now an impending storm that might be strengthen by Lake Effect. Hopefully, everyone keeps their heads on straight.
