Reglue Climbing Skins, off to the Sorcerer Lodge, British Columbia
I've been frantically preparing my gear for my upcoming trip to the Sorcerer Lodge. I'll be staying up there for 7 days with a great crew from WA and UT.
I was pretty annoyed when I was touring this weekend I was walking out of my Black Diamond Split Skins after a few laps. I had to tape one of them on just to get out that night. So of course I figured I needed to reglue my skins before going on my trip.
Bringing 2010 to a close.
As much as I don't want to bore anyone reading this with my reflecting on 2010, it was a pretty pivotal year for me. So this post is more for me than you I guess.
Telemark Skier Photo Annual 2010 Spread
I just finished up my last round of finals for my M.S. Pretty stoked to say the least. I'm starting to get some plans in motion for this season. This January I'll be heading up on a trip to the Sorcerer Hut in B.C!!!
I'm also super excited to start working with Cloudveil Outerwear and BERN helmets. They make some awesome quality products. Check 'em out!
Ocupado
I think it's about time to update this, even though there's not much to update. This fall quarter at UW has been the busiest to date. I'm wrapping up my MS and hopefully transitioning into the PhD program. This was my final quarter with course work, which ultimately hasn't left much time for playing until the last few weeks. When this quarter ends, I should be set up very nicely with a flexible schedule to go rally around the cascades. Untill then, enjoy a few photos from the lab, touring with Kristin around Steven's Pass, and a day up at Baker.
Mt Robson
No....I didn't climb it.....yet. But it has been a dream of mine to climb and ski Mt Robson (3934m) for a while. So what better way to get the lay of the land than go visit? So last week Kristin and I took off for a week in the Canadian Rockies. We blazed 10 hours north from Seattle to the Visitors Center just in time before they closed down to get permits to hike to Berg Lake. Robson was socked in that evening. As we were leaving the visitors center we saw a chart saying last year they saw the summit 64% of the time due to it's notoriously bad weather.
Whistler Outtakes
Here's some outtakes from my biking trip to Whistler with my brother.

Super stoked and grateful to photographer Garrett Grove for scoring the opening spread in the Scarpa 2011 Winter Catalogue as well as placing as a finalist in the PDN and National Geographic Great Outdoors contest.

Summer Vacation
I have been pretty lax in updating this over the summer. I spent 1/2 the summer on San Juan Island, then spent most of August playing catch up trying to line up my cards so I can stay in WA another year. The last 3 weeks have seemed more like vacation with trips to Whistler and the Canadian Rockies, I feel refreshed and have kick started my ski season training. I'll try and do micro-posts on what I've been up to for the last few weeks.
Catching up: head cam footage from Baker and St. Helens
So it's been a while........finals got crazy. CRAZY. I wrote almost 100 pages for final papers/tests/ etc. gnarly. I then had a 4 day break before coming up to live on San Juan Island for a Biomechanics class that is more like a crash course in marine biology.
Anyway, for the next 5 weeks, I'll be living here:

My little brother scored the winning goal in the state championship!
Check out my little brother, Andrew Campbell, and my cousin Josh Warner as they slay it in RioTinto Stadium for the 2A Utah State Championship! Congrats boys!
