Learning to Skin

Kristin learned to ski 2 seasons ago. She's progressed at an outrageous rate. She's ventured a few times into the slack country surrounding Alta, but we decided it was time to throw skins on her feet to get her ready for some real Wasatch skiing. Today we got her feet wet skinning and skiing wind-crusted pow. Needless to say, she never dissapoints. Jon Nichol came along to snap some photos. We hiked past Rocky Point to Sunset Peak. Kristin had no problem showing her potential skiing and climbing. We're ditching the Day Wreckers and getting her some LEGIT touring binders to start getting her onto some bigger slopes.
