New Binders and Hip Flexers

After a few days of very warm temps, nasty sun crusts, and surface hoar, the Wasatch recieved about 10" of 6% cold smoke......on top of inpermeable crust. It definetly make our dawn patrol with Steve Lloyd, Jason West, Weston Deutschlander, and Shaun Raskin interesting up Little Superior. Weston and I were stoked that the Mavens defintely did their job floating above the majority of  the buried booby traps. With the low density pow, face shots were abundant as smiles.

We were back to the car at 8:30. Time to go pick up Kristin and let her try out her NEW Marker Barrons. Kristin's ready to dive into touring. And dive in she did. Today, we went for a skin up Grizzly Gulch, to the top of Patsy Marely. We stuck to the north facing stuff to avoid any death cookies and nasty crusts lurking below the surface. For being her first "Full Length" tour, Kristin was actually hard to keep up with. She's got the legs and head to really start pushing her limits. We're stoked for what she'll pull off in the remaining season. She just needs to get those Hip Flexers in shape now.

Check out the photos of where we toured and Kristin using her new binders!
