Suicide Sunrise

I was able to squeeze in a lap on Suicide Chute this moring with Steve Lloyd before heading into work for the day. My initial objectives were just to stretch my legs and get some blood moving. I didn't have high expectations for the quality of skiing due to the high temps we've had over the last few days.

The full moon made for nice skinning without a head lamp.

IF (Warm temps = Slick skin track) + (Skinny Skins on New Phat Skis) = A lot more work than it should be.

The booter.

The snow was surprisingly good, thanks to some winds re-filling the chute with chalky, windblown snow.

The apron had a SOLID re-freeze which let us open it up a bit. It got a little chattery-tho.

All that makes it much easier to do this all day.
